This is the homepage of the Avon Valley Residents Association Inc. The Association was formed to coordinate the opposition to a landfill proposal for metro waste from Perth. The Committee has been active since 2012, when the proposal first saw there light of day.

The Committee consist of: President – Keith Schekkerman, Vice President – Denis Hill, Treasurer – Yva Kane, Secretary – Helen Green, Assistant Secretary – Bev Hill, Committee members – Peter Green, Larry Kane, Bryn Watkins, Jenny & Ian McColl, Jane Ferro, Kim Hack, Penny Mossop.

This Committee has been in place for a decade now and is in need of new blood. Especially digital natives, who can run our online campaign.
